REHEARSALS!! TUES 24th July 1330hrs at SAFTIMI

Hey guys and gals, tues will be the rehearsal for the awards ceremony. Your teachers should be informed as well over this wkend. Need to meet 1330 at the main gate of SAFTIMI where there will be a bus to pick you up and bring you in. It is very very important that you do not be late and miss the bus! Its a hella long walk in!

Take SBS Bus no. 193 or 182 from Boon Lay MRT Station. Refer to map to Discovery Center. From the bustop walk down upper jurong rd, keeping SAFTIMI on your left. You will see the main gate and helpful guards. Wait there k? If not sure give me or anyone of the old folks a ring, and we'll guide you in.

I am also trying to see if the bus can pick us up from boon lay mrt, but lemme work that out as a plan b. This one sticks for now. Seeya soon! We will end round 5 after which I have 20 tickets to the exclusive CPT Clarence guided tour of OCS, so dun miss out!

I understand there may be some issues logging in for some of your peers, and hence they are not able to vote. We're currently working on the issue, and will delay the voting closure till Monday evening (July 16 at 6pm) to enable your peers to vote. We'll need your help to speed things up though. Gearing up for meeting on Friday

Hey guys.. Heh.. Look through some of the comments on the blog and seems like some of you guys are almost done with the vids! Some are still stressing over it.. Which is kinda a good sign, that you don't take it lightly.. But anyway.. From my past experiences during studying in JC, U and even at work, somehow things will ALWAYS work out as long as you don't give up. This is key yeah? Doesn't only apply to the videos..

Anyway, we're ALL looking forward to checking out your videos, regardless of form and message. So hang in there and Friday will be sorta a mini reward for everyone yeah? Seeing your products on the big screen first time. ; ) Don't be late hor!

Btw, this is my late mugshot submission. Me wishing hello kitty all the best.. It's not a hate crime yeah?!

Hey Folks,

How were the mid terms? Hope they weren't killer papers...

On a more cheerful note, we're meeting again this Friday (6th July)! Yay! Oooh... this is so exciting, I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with!

Here're the details:

Venue: Mindef Scholarship Center, CMPB (Same place as before)
Start Time: 1900hrs
End Time: 2230hrs (or so)

What to bring: Yourself, and wear whatever you like! More importantly, do bring your masterpieces over stored in either a thumbdrive or a CD. (It is advised to test your stored, finished works from their media storage devices before coming over, just in case it's been corrupted).

Tentative schedule:
1900hrs: Pizza!
1930hrs: First SEVEN videos screening!
2000hrs: Break 1
2010hrs: Next SEVEN videos screening!
2040hrs: Break 2
2050hrs: Last SIX videos screening!
2120hrs: Nominations!
2150hrs: Roundup, discussion about Tagline Competition Award Ceremony
2230hrs: Done!

Important news: As much as you can, please please please please please be punctual! Also, for those of us with a curfew, do let our parents know that we may come in a little later, so they shouldn't be calling the cops on us. I know I will.

More important announcements!

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone's been working hard on their videos, so we can all get to watch each other's vids when we gather on the 6th next month. I have some important announcements and requests, and I hope everyone can chip in to help.

1. As you may know, all our videos will be posted up on a website set up by iMindef soon. However, we're facing a lack of creative mugshots to spruce up that website. Hence, I'm calling out to everyone to send me your ugliest (or best) mugshots, so that you're at least decently recognizable to your peers who check in to vote. As an example, I've attached one of my better pictures here for all to take reference from. Crazier shots are most definitely welcome.

Also, because the submission deadline has been pushed backwards to the 6th of July (a Friday), iMindef will only be able to post the videos up for voting on the 11th (the Wednesday after), which means voting'll open 2 days later than expected. Closing date for voting has not changed, and it remains on the 16th.

This means the following:

a. We only have 6 days instead of 8 to vote!

b. We have to publicize this change to our peers so they can vote only during that 6 day window!

3. The website will be up soon, sometime around 26th June or so. It'll be accessible from the MSC website. http://www.mindef.gov.sg/scholarship/ So check that out!

1)Pool a cab with 3 other people from the nearest MRT, queenstown.
2)Take SBS bus service 195 from queenstown, in the direction towards IKEA.

Hi people! 2pdf was really fun. good job mindef yeah yeah yeah!

but there's one thing though.. i thought it should be "chicken wing"? they eat dogs? ok bad joke haha.

after that was the mini outing. SOMEHOW we ended up in some place other than TCC for a while.. haha we must have another one after everything and this time gotta get wally to stay! here's a pic after Clarence left. haha oops.
